after testing the concept with a dinner for 60 friends, gonçalo castel-branco, executive producer of chefs on fire, decided to turn the event into a festival. since 2018, there has been an increase in the number of festival days, but also an expansion with pop-up editions in cascais, almada, lisbon, foz côa and aveiro.
CINCO had the privilege of attending the aveiro edition this weekend, tasting the delicious dishes prepared by chefs ana leão, diogo formiga, angélica salvador and ricardo dias ferreira, and listening to a concert by rita vian. the venue was perfect for the event, with tables set up, but also blankets, cushions and makeshift tables for those who preferred to sit on the grass; the day was sunny, but the breeze tempered the temperature. was the perfect way to enjoy a leisurely Sunday in good company.
